FOR TEAM LEADERS
Your team should create more than another layer of responsibility.
Keep your name and your leadership. Review the operating support, published team cap tiers and long-term optionality behind the structure before you move anything.
Team leaders in Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley review this privately first; nothing is announced to your agents by us.
- Operator-led
- Source-backed
- Private by design
01 — The problem
You hired to get leverage and inherited a second job.
A team starts as an answer to capacity. Then it becomes payroll, recruiting, training, conflict, compliance, lead cost and morale — all carried by the person who was already the top producer.
Most team leaders end up responsible for other people's production, other people's costs and other people's expectations, while their own business quietly plateaus.
- Your income depends on production you do not personally control.
- Systems live in your head, so nothing runs without you.
- Every good year adds obligation faster than it adds freedom.
02 — The consequence
Responsibility compounds. Ownership usually does not.
In most team structures the leader absorbs the risk while the brokerage keeps the durable assets: the brand relationship, the platform, the infrastructure and any long-term enterprise value.
If you stepped back for six months, the honest question is whether the team would continue — and whether anything you built would still be yours.

03 — The structural possibility
Keep your identity. Change what sits underneath it.
The useful question is not which brokerage sign to hang. It is which structure preserves your team's identity and culture while improving the four things underneath it: economics, infrastructure, ownership and optionality.
RGC helps team leaders evaluate whether the Real ecosystem offers a better structure for the organization they are already running.
Real publishes several team types, each with its own requirements and its own company-cap treatment. As currently published, the standard individual company cap is $12,000, a team member under a qualifying team structure may cap at $6,000, and a further reduced $4,000 company cap applies only to specific qualifying team arrangements. Eligibility, qualification and the current figures are set by Real, vary by team type, and must be confirmed against Real's official team-type documentation before you plan around them.
- Brand continuity: your team name stays the name in the market.
- Infrastructure: shared technology, compliance and back office you do not build.
- Governance: clearer agreements about splits, roles and accountability.
- Optionality: the ability to restructure later without starting over.

04 — How we work
Operators, published sources and no recruiting theatre.
RGC is run by people who are actually operating in this structure in Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley. We cite the official source for every structural claim and flag anything that Real controls and can change.
We are not a coaching program and there is nothing to purchase. If the structure does not fit your team, we will say so.
- Sourced comparisons against the brokerage you are on today.
- Straight answers on what changes for your agents, not just for you.
- A documented transition checklist rather than a rushed move.
05 — The tool
Model your team's economics before you decide anything.
The Brokerage Comparison Center includes a team-aware economics model so you can run your current structure against the published Real structure with your own agent count and volume. The math, the assumptions and the disclosures are all visible.
- Set agent count, average price and per-agent volume.
- See published cap treatment applied per seat, with sources.
- Export the questions list for your current broker.

06 — The conversation
Bring the structure you actually run.
The most useful conversation starts with your real numbers and your real agreements — not a generic pitch. We will walk the structure with you and be direct about where it does and does not help.
